My name is Ken Woon, Operations Director of Colorific Print. Personally, I have been in the printing industry for over 18years started off in a family run printing company that specialises in Construction prints like plans, tender documents, blue-prints, contract documents just to name a few.
During my tenure as a Chief Printing Officer my notable clients I’ve worked withs are Shell Malaysia, Arup Jururunding, Sime Darby Plantation, BEP Akitek, GDP Architects and PAM (Persatuan Akitek Malaysia).
In 2015 I saw a growing trend in the Retail and F&B segment that many new clients came to me seeking for such specialize graphical prints. With that encouragement, we took the leap of faith and started Colorific Print a husband-and-wife duo. With my experience and rapport with my suppliers we then started scouting the latest machines and material for that segment and invested into a HP Latex Machine that’s versatile to cater for Retail & F&B market.
Fast forward to 2022, from just husband-and-wife duo we expanded our team to 5 dedicated team members that has a combined experience of over 50years both in print production and on-site installation. Not only that we also expanded our fleet of machinery to cater for the demand with the tagline of ‘Prints needed Yesterday’.

Why this business
As I was growing up printing has always been a part of my life. During my school holidays working part-time and learning the different types of print method and speaking to different type of customers amplifies my love for printing even more. The exposure made me realize the importance of print in our daily life and started to dive in deeper understanding the trade from a business standpoint.
My second love of trade is in food and in 2014 we nearly invested into an F&B franchise, but the universe has other plans for us. We still wanted to being our journey as entrepreneur and that’s how we started Colorific Print in 2015. In retrospect we been servicing Retailers and F&B Operators ranging from Grocerant, Fashion, Food outlets, F&B Franchisor, Hawker Centre, Food Trucks, Mobile Accessories, and Shopping Malls.
How we are different from our competitors
The main factor that differentiates us will be the Experience, Print technology and Speed. For example, have you heard or experience a print company giving a sample print for FREE using the same exact material for final production? That’s Colorific!
We only use branded machine, Hewlett Packard (HP) that’s eco-friendly and does not have any chemicals in its ink and its recyclable. As a company we play our part on being eco conscience putting our environment first before anything else. That’s the partnership we forge with HP knowing a good supplier with the values we believe in are heading at the same direction for a better world. Currently they are still #1 in Large Format Printing category and breaking boundaries in the print market on quality and speed.
Our machines HP PagewideXL has the capabilities to print 200pcs A1 plans in 1hr. HP Latex 129sqft in 1hr. In general, we can complete jobs on the same day with no frills. That’s our commitment to our clients, ‘Prints Needed Yesterday’ our motto.
The value that our business provides
Most printers will say Quality and Service, at Colorific we believe that’s already a must when clients engaged us. Our proposition is how can we solve your problem and value add with solutions. Majority of our clients either have a bad experience with previous supplier, tight dateline to meet or even cost related issues.
To-date our track record on timeline has been 100%, no delay jobs or even dateline not met. Our large format prints even have a 1yr warranty on colour fade to bolster on quality. In Jan 2022, we were being task to complete print jobs for 3 Retail Outlet comprise of;
• 50pcs of Canvases Signages
• 1500sqft Vinyl Sticker
All done ahead of time and client were able to open before the Chinese New Year break.
