Hi my name is Tara Chong, I’m Metaphysics Consultant since 2016 and study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) major in Aesthetic Beauty during MCO and practiced in Medicare TCM Seri Kembangan.

How did you get involved in the industry and in Malaysia?

Introduced by BNI PJ Region Senior Director Consultant Ms Cheah Yee Peng on the collaboration. GDB Global has a center at Oasis Square Ara Damansara where I can provide my service which fully equipped.

What made you decide to go into this business?

Well, part of it is because the metaphysic, main reasons is more younger people gets body aching and skin in bad condition nowadays specially women.

What differentiates you from your competition?

I’d like to help more women to restore, rebalance and relief muscle tension with just one treatment, can enjoy reasonable price of service and products to maintain their health and beauty. That’s all women needed.

What value do you and your business provide?

I always find the best solutions to my clients in terms of products, services and prices. Reduced cost with higher effectiveness.

My services provided are abdominal massage, pelvis alignment, breast firming, reduce dark eyes circle/eyebags, muscle tension relief.

What are your insights for the industry or marketplace?

The wellness industry has grown substantially over the past few decades. The reason is because people are becoming more proactive about their health. Instead of just treating diseases, there’s a shift towards preventing them by maintaining a balanced lifestyle, consuming a healthy diet, and engaging in regular exercise.

The industry’s evolution will continue as new technologies emerge, and as our understanding of health and wellness deepens.

What are the challenges and where are the opportunities for Malaysian businesses in relation to your industry?

While there are challenges in the Malaysian wellness sector due to multi races, the opportunities are vast. By integrating traditional practices with modern trends, understanding the diverse demographic, and leveraging the natural and cultural assets, Malaysian businesses can make a significant mark in the wellness industry.

What kind of clients or contacts would you like to be connected to or in touch with?

I would like to get in touch with all women who wish to have pain relief or maintain their affordable wellness.

As the demand for wellness grows, I am providing training to collaborate with beauty center, confinement center and who would like investing in wellness businesses.
