What made you decide to start up a legal partnership?
Technical ability alone is not enough. Skill, speed and Grit is necessary.
I found that Justin and I shared the commonality of care with respect to our clients’ requirements, businesses and are always able to provide commercially astute, innovative advice to our clients.
What differentiates you from your competition?
The wide range of services from corporate, conveyancing and litigation matter, with a good turnaround time.
In this fast pace life, problems need to be solved at a good pace but similarly the requirement to maintain a high level of work quality is necessary. At JFP, we have constantly improved our systems to ensure all clients that we onboard are taken care of.

Diversity in language – aside from having the relevant legal and practical expertise, my team is also able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese.
What is your insight for the industry?
Corporate law is here to stay. Legal paperwork is always necessary because disputes and disagreements pursuant to a contract, are as certain as tax and death in a business setting lifespan.
Having solid paperwork no matter how complex or simple an agreement will always be able to protect a contracting party.
What kind of clients or contacts would you like to be connected to or in touch with?
I wish to get in touch with corporate clients or Head of Departments who require legal advice on ensuring their contracts in the company is well drafted for third party clients and/or vendors.
